Aug. 31, 2006, 10:55 p.m.i am not really sure how to react to this. I am all for the advancement of technology and public sharing of information, but I feel truly personal matters need to simply..remain personal. It's almost as though people have started blogging events simply for the shock value. just my take..

Sept. 1, 2006, 2:14 a.m.damn geek cant put his tech gadget down and welcome the birth of his child. this guy seems to have a closer relationship with the faceless masses of the internet than his own family.

Sept. 1, 2006, 2:56 a.m.When I'm married, my wife would probably kick my ass if I ran off to blog about what was happenning, haha. Even if it is via a mobile phone, wouldn't you still have to go outside the hospital to do so... cell phones are supposed to be prohibited from use in hospitals, right?

Sept. 1, 2006, 6:12 a.m.Hmmmmm. why would anyone want to do that? It is kind of like suffering through someone else's photo album of their kids..... seen one, seen them all, pretty much. Unless, of course, you are really interested in looking at them, in which you would have to really care about the person showing them to you. A weblog? Come on... Of course the good thing about this is that I have the choice of clicking on the link or not....

Sept. 1, 2006, 11:36 a.m.At first I was going to comment on how wrong I thought this was, then I read the post. "We're in the hostipal, It's a boy, I'll upload photos tomorrow." Not much of a live blogging effort - why even have a computer (pda, ect) out in the delivery room for that. Put away the (non-medical) technology and enjoy the moment.

Sept. 1, 2006, 12:55 p.m.When one has to watch some lady as she screams in pain on the Discovery Health channel is bad enough without a blow to blow of another kid being born. Who wants to see a baby coming out of a hole for the whole world to see. I think it's disgusting and the people doing that only wanna bring attention to themselves and not for the purpose of sharing the birth with the world. What's so special about a new born. They are the UGLIEST babies ever born anyway. Even mine were.

Sept. 3, 2006, 4:31 p.m.This guy has to be half nuts!
Having a baby is a very personal occasion, and I can't see how putting his wifes private parts on the internet has any value other than perhaps showing off to a few perverts who like that kind of thing!
