The Midwest was recently slammed with a several inches of snow. Life long residents see it as just the beginning of winter. Transplants, or people new to the Midwest, may be inexperienced in dealing with several inches of snow. Safety and preparedness are the keys to coping with the adverse weather and getting on with life.

I was locked outside of my car as it ran. I had to walk to a phone to get my wife to bring me a spare.
