In our sexually charged society it is impossible to avoid the message that sex is all that there is to obtain. We as a society glorify sex, and as a parent, other that becoming Amish and disconnecting the TV,internet, etc, there is no way possible to spend enough hours in the day to overcome these messages. How could abstinence based messages work, when the media of our day glorifies this lifestyle? I defy you to find one negative message about a sexually promiscuous lifestyle.

Our country has turned away from any moral code of any form, the story of the day is "I will do it my way, and whatever I think is right must be okay. There is no longer anything that is right or wrong just moral relativism that is justified through what the masses think.

The sad reality is that we have children that have to pay a very high price for choices they make.Lifelong diseases and unwanted pregnancies, choices to make that no one should have to make.Role models are important especially parents.

Problem with that is that role models are not the ones that kids should be listening to. This all comes back to parents. Talk to your kids. How hard is that. Help them to make better decisions. Parents that aren't talking to their children about these things shouldn't be parents in the first place.
