I am sorry I didn't see this sooner, I am still recuperating from the second surgery on my hand since Aug.
Well besides that. Playtime is definitely disappearing. Kids are in front of the TV or computer. On hot days they aren't encouraged to run through sprinklers, etc. Chasing butterflies, catching bugs, enjoying the nature in your backyard is gone. Some parents are just too busy and don't take the time or have the time to spend quality time with their children anymore. That is not saying that they aren't good parents.
It is really to bad. I see it with my grandson, games to play now on the TV. And then they push him toward sports.
Kids need to be kids first. They need to explore their little world.
