GOP adds global warming to its 2008 platform »

“Increased atmospheric carbon has a warming effect on the earth,” the document said. “While the scope and long term consequences of this warming effect are the subject of ongoing research, we believe the United States should take measured and reasonable steps today.”

Yeah, I believe they give a damn about science. Just like bush boy promised to keep the air and water 'clean', after he allowed TX to be polluted. CONS didn't get their name for nothing..

Whether one is Republican Or Democrat... or whatever... everyone should be concerned with the well being of our environment... our planet.

Who the hell do you think you are to think any less.... we are supposed to be the governing species. Don't we make up the majority of it's inhabitants?
It's the right think to do... republican or democrat. or whatever... are you goofy?
You live here... then have the decency to want to take care of it... and for those who are to come.
The bickering is trivial. It makes no sense. I don't care what position you hold.
Common sense should dictate that due to high numbers of our species... and inevitable replication... we should concern ourselves with it's future. It should be put on our list of things to do.
